The magnet-based charging system "MagSafe 3" was installed in the new MacBook Pro. Unfortunately, there are reports that charging is not successful.

I also own a new MacBook Pro, and I'm impressed with the MagSafe 3. Unlike the USB-C connector, it's convenient to be able to easily put it on and take it off with just a little force. Also, it is good to know the charging status of the LED on the connector part.

However, according to a report sent to Reddit, there are cases where charging does not start when the MagSafe 3 connector is connected with the MacBook Pro turned off. In that state, the charging connector flashes orange, which is clearly different from the normal charging/power supply state of orange and green lighting.

When a user inquired about this symptom to Apple, he said that it was "probably a firmware problem". This user was finally offered to replace the MacBook Pro with a power adapter.

Reportedly, if you plug in the MagSafe 3 connector with your MacBook Pro turned on, this issue doesn't seem to occur. However, it's a problem if you can't turn off your MacBook Pro with confidence, so I'd like you to resolve the problem as soon as possible.
